The French national team center back for the “Gunners” was injured and had to leave the first semifinal of this year’s World Cup between the “Tricolors” and Spain last Tuesday and is expected to be sidelined for four to five months, as confirmed by the medical tests he underwent.
The 25-year-old defender will have to undergo back surgery and is expected to return to the field in early 2026, which means he will also miss the World Cup “third-place match” against England this coming Saturday.
