After a successful eight-year stint with the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James announced his desire to leave the Lakers, though he has not yet indicated which team will be the next stop in his career.
Many teams, however, have expressed their desire to add him to their roster, despite the fact that he is 41 years old. The Cleveland Cavaliers, the team where he got his start, are among the favorites to sign him, with Cavaliers guard James Harden, expressing his desire to play alongside “The King” in order to “achieve a fairy-tale ending,” as he put it.
The “bearded one,” wearing a Cleveland jersey this past season, proved he’s still in his prime, as at 36 years old he averaged 19.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.3 assists.
His statement about LeBron
“I hope he comes to Cleveland. It would be the perfect fairy-tale ending—for him to be at home for his final season.”
