Far-right influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested on Saturday in Miami, USA, following new charges filed against them by British Aauthorities.
London is reportedly preparing to request the extradition of both men to Britain.
Meanwhile, the UK Crown Prosecution Service has approved the filing of new charges against Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan for rape, sexual assault, human trafficking, physical assault, and pornography.
The charges involve four additional alleged victims. The offenses are alleged to have been committed between 2010 and 2017.
British prosecutors will seek his extradition from the U.S. for both the new charges and the original 21 charges.
Andrew Tate, 39, faces a total of 42 charges, and his 38-year-old brother faces another 17 charges.
Specifically, Andrew is charged with seven additional counts of rape, three counts of organizing or facilitating human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation, three counts of assault causing actual bodily harm, and 19 additional counts of offenses related to child pornography and extreme pornography.
Tristan is charged with one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape, and three counts of organizing or facilitating human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
CNN reports that the Tate brothers are scheduled to appear in federal court in Miami in the coming days.
It should be noted that the brothers had faced multiple charges in Romania, where they had been detained for a period of time.
