The police are investigating an attempted murder case, following the serious injury of a 33-year-old man who, in the early hours of this morning in the Larnaca district, was allegedly attacked by a 21-year-old man.

Specifically, ten minutes before 1:00 a.m. today, a 33-year-old man was found injured on a street in the Aradippou area. Police officers arrived at the scene, where they found the 33-year-old; an ambulance crew picked him up and transported him to Larnaca General Hospital.

Medical examinations revealed that the 33-year-old had wounds on his body and hands, which are believed to have been caused by a sharp object. The 33-year-old was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital, where he is being treated; his condition is considered serious.

According to information currently under investigation, the 33-year-old was attacked by a 21-year-old man. Following an investigation, the 21-year-old was located by police officers and arrested under a court warrant for the purpose of police questioning.

The Aradippou Police Station is investigating the case.
