Konstantinos Tzolakis is headed to Hull. Although no agreement has been finalized yet, the fact that he did not play in Olympiacos’ second consecutive friendly match is seen as a sign that he is about to be sold to the English team, while the “Red-and-Whites” have already begun the process of finding his replacement.
Stefan Ortega, who became a free agent after leaving Nottingham, is the favorite for the position, but he is not the only option. The Piraeus club has set its sights on Dominik Kotarski, the 26-year-old Croatian former PAOK star. He has a contract with Copenhagen through 2030, but is reportedly willing to leave and is open to a return to Greece. The Danes signed him last year for 5 million euros, and in his first season, he made 51 appearances, conceding 68 goals and keeping 15 clean sheets. During his three years at PAOK, he made 139 appearances, conceding 147 goals and keeping 49 clean sheets.
Beyond that, Olympiacos is expected to finalize the signing of Manolis Saliakas. There is now very little left to negotiate with St. Pauli, and the 29-year-old right back is waiting for the go-ahead to board a flight and join the “Red-and-Whites.”
As for the midfielder, Nikola Moro (who was linked with AEK last year) is on the list for the position. The 28-year-old Croatian, who was on the World Cup roster but did not play at all, is entering the final year of his contract with Bologna.
