New Wave of U.S. Attacks Against Iran
The U.S. military announced that it launched a new “wave of strikes” against Iran yesterday, Sunday, at 7:00 p.m. (Washington time; Monday at 2:00 a.m. Cyprus time) a new “wave of strikes” against Iran, marking “the ninth consecutive night.”
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), which is responsible for the Middle East, stated via X that “the strikes will continue to further degrade Iranian military capabilities used to attack commercial ships and civilian maritime workers transiting the Strait of Hormuz.”
In the early hours of the morning, CENTCOM announced the conclusion of the operations, stating that it had struck Iranian military command centers, air defense and coastal surveillance facilities, naval forces, missile and drone launch bases, as well as communications networks.
