UEFA held the draw for the third qualifying round of the European competitions.
If Omonia manages to overcome Kairat, it will face one of the following teams in the third round of the Champions League:
- The winner of the Ararat (Armenia)–Shamrock (Ireland) match
- The winner of the Sabah (Azerbaijan) vs. Kuopio (Finland) match
- The winner of the Vikingur (Iceland) vs. Hapoel Tel Aviv (Israel) match
- Winner of the Mjällby (Sweden) vs. Lincoln (Gibraltar) matchup
- Winner of the Levski Sofia (Bulgaria) vs. Craiova (Romania) matchup
- Winner of the Klaksvik (Faroe Islands) vs. Žalgiris (Lithuania) matchup
It should be noted that the “clover” will enter the draw as a seeded team. The draw will begin at 1:00 p.m.
Beyond that, in the event of elimination by the Kazakhs, the “Greens” will advance to the third round of the Europa League. The Nicosia-based team will also enter this draw as a top seed and will learn its potential opponent at 2:00 p.m.
Omonia’s potential opponents in the Europa League:
- Loser of the Sabah (Azerbaijan)-Kuopio (Finland) match

Paphos will also be included as a wild card in the same draw for Europe’s second-tier competition. If the Cup champions eliminate Hajduk Split, they could face one of the following teams:

- The winner of the Besiktas (Turkey) vs. Midtjylland (Denmark) match
- The winner of the Dynamo Kyiv (Ukraine) vs. PAOK (Greece) match
- Salzburg (Austria)
If the “Blues” are eliminated by the Croatians, they will continue as unseeded in the third round of the Conference League. There, they could be drawn against one of the following:
- The winner of the FCSB (Romania) vs. Auda (Latvia) match
- The winner of the Dinamo Tbilisi (Georgia) vs. Žalgiris (Lithuania) match
- The loser of the Dynamo Kyiv (Ukraine) vs. PAOK (Greece) match
- Loser of the Sheriff Tiraspol (Moldova) vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv (Israel) match
Also in the draw for Europe’s third-tier competition will be both AEK, as well as Apollon, who will learn their potential opponents should they advance past Beitar and Dila Gori, respectively. The draw will take place at 3:00 p.m., with the Larnaca-based team considered a strong contender and the Limassol-based team considered an underdog.
AEK could be drawn against one of the following:
- Spartak Trnava (Slovakia) vs. CSKA 1948 (Bulgaria)
- Lepaja (Latvia) vs. Austria Vienna (Austria)
- Rúnavík (Faroe Islands) vs. Koper (Slovenia)
- Neftchi (Azerbaijan) vs. Dinamo Minsk (Belarus)
Apollon may be drawn against one of the following:
- Zimbru (Moldova) vs. Noah (Armenia)
- Partizan (Serbia) vs. Una (Luxembourg)
- Cluj (Romania) vs. Brann (Norway)
- Hapoel Tel Aviv (Israel) vs. Ludogorets (Bulgaria)
