Cedi Osman was given a hero’s welcome by PAOK fans at the Palataki, and in his first comments, he didn’t hide his excitement about this new challenge in his career.
The international forward thanked the fans for the warm welcome, as well as the people who brought him to PAOK, explaining that the team’s vision and ambitions were what convinced him to don the black-and-white jersey.
At the same time, he sent a message to PAOK fans, acknowledging the power of the home crowd and their role as the “sixth man.” In fact, he set the bar high from the very beginning, emphasizing that the goal is to win a European title and compete for the league championship.
“I appreciate that so many of you came here today for me. First and foremost, I want to thank Mr. Mystakidis. I’d also like to thank Mr. Tsiaras and Mr. Trinchieri. From the very first moment I spoke with the coach and the GM, they explained their vision and ambitions for the team to me. I felt that I needed to be part of this club.
During the last two years I played in Greece, it was never easy to play in this arena. You are the team’s sixth man. “Without you, nothing is possible; we want you by our side, and we promise that we’ll do our best to win the European title and compete for the league championship,” he explained in detail.
