An incident occurred in the past 24 hours at the OASTH bus depot in Stavroupoli, Thessaloniki, resulting in injuries to a 42-year-old security guard and the arrest of two men, aged 60 and 59.
According to the police, the 60-year-old allegedly struck the 42-year-old on the arm with a sledgehammer—for a reason that is currently unknown. The situation appears to have escalated when the security guard (an employee of a security firm) called a 59-year-old depot employee for help.
According to the report, the 60-year-old threatened and verbally abused the 59-year-old, while the latter allegedly retaliated by using physical force against him.
Complaints were filed by both parties regarding the incident, and police proceeded to arrest the two men. The 42-year-old was given first aid and, according to the information available so far, did not require further medical treatment.
