The Pan-Cyprus Potato Festival is back in full force for its 12th year, more revitalized and impressive than ever, continuing to be one of the most important culinary, cultural, and artistic events in the Famagusta district and throughout Cyprus.

The Organizing Committee of the 12th Pan-Cyprian Potato Festival is preparing a grand summer celebration filled with music, entertainment, flavors, tradition, and unique experiences for young and old alike.

Three beloved names from the Greek music scene will take the Festival’s main stage for an evening that is sure to be unforgettable. The one and only Kaiti Garbi, one of the most timeless and beloved voices in Greek music; the explosive Dionysis Schinas, with his boundless energy and timeless hits, and Marseaux, one of the most dynamic and beloved figures of the new generation of musicians, are coming to treat the audience to a unique evening.

The celebration kicks off at 6:00 p.m. with Zenith FM’s music producers, Rikko Ioannou and Marianna, in a special two-hour live broadcast, setting the tone for the evening early on.

At 6:30 p.m., a live cooking demonstration involving the audience will begin, during which sweet mini potato pancakes will be prepared and offered for tasting.

Throughout the Festival, visitors will have the opportunity to get an up-close look at the world of potato farming through an exhibition featuring potato varieties, agricultural machinery, tractors, and traditional farming artifacts, as well as themed booths run by agricultural professionals.

The public will have the opportunity to enjoy free tastings of hot and cold potato-based dishes, while the venue will feature food stands offering favorite treats such as ofto kleftiko, souvlaki, twisted potatoes, loukoumades, ice cream, crepes, drinks, and many more options.

The 12th Pan-Cyprian Potato Festival is coming up on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Avgorou Municipal Stadium, with admission at €5, and we look forward to welcoming you for an unforgettable summer evening filled with music, flavors, tradition, hospitality, and wonderful moments for the whole family.
