Former Apollon soccer player Vernon De Marco is officially returning to Cyprus.

Omonia Aradippou announced the signing of the Argentine (with a Slovak passport) defender, adding experience to the back line.

The full announcement reads: “Omonia Aradippou announces the signing of a contract with the experienced Slovak center back Vernon De Marco.

Vernon De Marco previously played in Cyprus during the 2024–25 season with Apollon Limassol, and last year he played for Panserraikos.

“We welcome Vernon to the Omonia Aradippou family and wish him every success in our team’s colors!”
