Manolis Saliakas’s transfer to Olympiacos is in the final stages. In Germany, the 29-year-old right back’s return to the “Red-and-Whites” is considered all but certain, with the deal with St. Pauli expected to be finalized for a fee estimated between 1.3 and 1.5 million euros.
The Greek international is in top form and, provided the transfer is finalized immediately, is expected to join Olympiacos’ preseason training without delay. In fact, he recently played in the second half of a friendly match between St. Pauli and Arminia Bielefeld, helping set up his team’s goal.
Meanwhile, talks with Hull City regarding Konstantinos Tzolakis are moving forward. The English club, which has secured promotion and will compete in the Premier League next season, is close to signing the Greek goalkeeper, though it has not yet submitted a formal offer.
Reports indicate that Olympiacos is asking for approximately 15 million euros, including bonuses, while a specific condition is on the table. In the event that Hull is relegated to the Championship at the end of next season, in June 2027, the Piraeus club will be able to bring Tzolakis back to their roster by paying a pre-agreed amount.
At the same time, Olympiacos is evaluating its options for the goalkeeper position, with Stefan Ortega remaining a top candidate. The transfer plans also include moves for the midfield and a possible reinforcement in central defense.
