Mo Salah has made a splash at Trabzonspor!
The Egyptian forward signed a two-year contract with the Turkish club, which announced his signing at noon on Thursday. The international soccer player will wear the jersey with the number “10” on the back.
At the same time, the details of his “golden” contract were officially announced. The former Liverpool star will earn 17 million euros annually. Ten million will be his base salary, plus seven million as a signing bonus, while additional payments—described as “conditional for each season”—will also be included.
In addition, it has been confirmed that he will receive 20% of the proceeds from sales of his jersey at the team’s retail stores.
The 34-year-old star, who received a royal welcome on Wednesday in Trabzon, is preparing for the seventh major challenge of his career. At his previous club (Liverpool), he played from 2017 to 2026.
