Anorthosis Basketball is turning a new page by announcing its partnership with AntetokounBros in the sports apparel sector. The agreement holds special symbolic significance, as it connects the refugee-founded club with a family that has come to embody values such as hard work and perseverance.
The start of this joint venture was marked by a commemorative jersey presented by “Kyriá” president Konstantinos Pieridis to Thanasis Antetokounmpo. The “ANTETOKOUNBROS” inscription on the back, combined with the Phoenix emblem on the chest, pays homage to the history of Famagusta, the legacy, and the refugee identity of Anorthosis.

In detail:
“Anorthosis Famagusta Basketball is delighted and proud to announce the launch of its partnership with AntetokounBros in the field of athletic apparel. As part of this new strategic partnership, our team’s President, Konstantinos Pieridis, had the distinct pleasure of meeting with Thanasis Antetokounmpo, marking the beginning of a shared journey based on common principles and values.
During the meeting, our team’s president presented Thanasis Antetokounmpo with a collectible Anorthosis Famagusta jersey, with “ANTETOKOUNBROS” printed on the back. A jersey with special symbolism, dedicated to Famagusta and the refugee history of Anorthosis, as a reminder of heritage, memory, and unwavering faith in return.
Through its unique journey, the Antetokounmpo family serves as a role model and source of inspiration for the younger generation, embodying hard work, perseverance, resilience, humility, the value of family, and meaningful contributions to society. These values are deeply rooted in the history of Anorthosis Famagusta, and we aim to pass them on to future generations and to the children in our Academies.
Starting with the new season, our teams will proudly wear AntetokounBros’ designs, always bearing the Phoenix on their chests—the timeless symbol of faith, resilience, hope, and rebirth. We welcome the Antetokounmpo family to the Anorthosis Famagusta family.”
