Tragedy in Paros, where a 4-year-old child died in a beach bar pool.
According to information from protothema.gr, the child was found unconscious by two young women, and the bartender dove into the pool and pulled him out. According to the same sources, the parents were at the beach bar but not near the child, while the business owner is listed as the lifeguard on duty.

The relevant authorities were immediately mobilized, and an EKAB ambulance rushed to the scene. However, despite the efforts made, the child could not be saved, according to cyclades24.gr.
According to the same reports, police took the beach bar owner and the child’s parents into custody.
