The police are investigating the circumstances and causes of a traffic collision which occurred yesterday afternoon in the Larnaca district and resulted in serious injuries to a 22-year-old woman.
The traffic accident occurred shortly before 5:00 p.m. yesterday, on the Delikipos-Lythrodonta road, where the motorcycle being ridden by the 22-year-old, under circumstances that are under investigation, collided with a car driven by a 45-year-old man.

Police officers arrived at the scene to investigate, while an ambulance crew transported the 22-year-old to Nicosia General Hospital.
Medical examinations revealed that the 22-year-old had sustained a head injury. She received treatment and was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit, where she is currently hospitalized and on a ventilator. According to her attending physicians, her condition is considered critical.
The Kofinou Regional Police Station is continuing its investigation.
