Scottie Pippen considers himself more successful than LeBron James, as he stated on a podcast.
“In terms of team achievements, I’m more successful than LeBron. I have six championship rings. Do you want individual accolades or championships? Because I didn’t chase after my own. I didn’t have to jump from team to team to win championships. I won on my own,” the Bulls legend emphasized.
In fact, seeing the reactions to his comments, he posted a tweet featuring six championship rings.
At the same time, he addressed his relationship with Michael Jordan, reiterating that the two of them were never close. “A great teammate, but we were never good friends. We never played golf together, nor did the two of us ever go out to eat. We didn’t spend much time together outside of basketball,” he said.
Finally, he also mentioned Zion Williamson, who hasn’t lived up to expectations. “Zion isn’t even working to become a professional player. He hasn’t shown that he’s disciplined enough to take care of his body, his diet, and surround himself with the right people,” he pointed out.
