Earlier that same day, the Celtics will face the Pistons in another highly anticipated Eastern Conference matchup.
Giannis Antetokounmpo will make his debut a day later, on October 21 (early morning of October 22), with Miami hosting the Timberwolves. That’s where he’s expected to make his official debut with the Heat.
As for the schedule of games on Christmas Day, it will be even more packed than the holiday dinner table: Knicks vs. Spurs, Celtics vs. Heat, Lakers vs. Sixers, Timberwolves vs. Thunder, and Warriors vs. Nuggets.
