Members of the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the Special Operations Unit (OPU) arrested two individuals, aged 20 and 36, this morning, in connection with a shooting that took place last March at a store in Limassol owned by a Russian businessman.
Specifically, on March 31, 2026, at approximately 4:15 a.m., an unknown individual riding a high-powered motorcycle fired several shots at the store’s glass display window and then fled the scene.

As part of the investigation into the case, two individuals, aged 20 and 36, were arrested early this morning and subsequently brought before the Limassol District Court, where a detention order was issued against them for a period of eight days.
The Limassol CID is continuing its investigation.
