A 46-year-old foreign national was arrested for drug possession and trafficking in central Athens

He was in possession of 11 packages of cocaine, two cell phones, and 1,605 euros

On Tuesday morning (August 11) in central Athens, a 46-year-old foreign national was arrested on charges of possession and trafficking of narcotics.

This followed the appropriate analysis of intelligence information; after police operations, investigations, cross-checking of data, and profiling, his criminal activity was confirmed.

Specifically, the 46-year-old was located in central Athens and found to be in possession of 11 nylon packages intended for further distribution, containing a total gross weight of 9.2 grams of cocaine.

In addition, two cell phones and the sum of 1,605 euros were found and seized.

The suspect, who has a history of theft, drug offenses, and immigration violations, was brought before the competent prosecutor.
