Yiannis Konstantelias has been ruled out of PAOK’s rematch against Anderlecht tomorrow in the third qualifying round of the Europa League (9:30 p.m.).
The leader of the “Double-Headed Eagle of the North” did not travel with the team to Belgium due to a serious family matter that arose at the last minute and kept him in Thessaloniki.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder was PAOK’s top performer in the team’s first three European matches of the season, with 3 goals and 1 assist.
Now, Alessio Lisi must find a replacement, though it will be very difficult to fill the void he leaves behind.
It should be noted that PAOK lost 1-0 in the first leg at Toumba and is looking to turn the tide at “Lotto Park” on Thursday night.
