A motorcyclist on a rural road in Greece narrowly avoided a serious accident when a tanker truck that was passing another vehicle veered into oncoming traffic, heading straight toward him.
The incident was captured by a camera mounted on the motorcyclist’s helmet, and the video has gone viral online.

The footage shows the motorcyclist riding normally in his lane, when suddenly the tanker truck appears in front of him, having crossed into oncoming traffic in an attempt to pass a gray car.
The motorcyclist reacts instantly and swerves to the side of the road, managing to avoid the collision literally at the last second.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, what the heck is he doing…!” he can be heard shouting in shock, and a few seconds later, realizing just how close he came to a collision, he mutters to himself: “We almost died!”
As shown in the video, the tanker truck begins to pass on a curve and crosses the double solid line, taking up almost the entire opposite lane.
The distance between the two vehicles closes in a matter of seconds, leaving the motorcycle rider with very little time to react.
His immediate maneuver to the side of the road proves crucial, as a collision with the massive vehicle is narrowly avoided by just a few meters.
The video footage does not show the tanker’s license plate, and it is not known in which region of Greece the incident occurred.
The only thing evident from the footage is that it took place on a rural road with one lane in each direction and no median barrier.
