Following the signing of Facundo Pérez, APOEL continues its transfer plans, with Zisis Vryzas and Nikos Papadopoulos considering the next steps to further strengthen the team.
One of the positions currently in the spotlight is that of striker. The “blue-and-yellows” are in talks to sign a player for that position, while recent reports mention interest in and talks with PAOK’s Geremev, as well as Ricardo Pereira, to bolster the midfield.
At the same time, particular emphasis is being placed on the goalkeeper situation. This is yet another key position, where Vryzas and Papadopoulos are tasked with “moving forward” with the process, since following Pereira’s loan to Omonia Aradippou, only Belets and Savvas Michos remain at “Archangelos,” with the name of Devi Epasi still in the spotlight.
Therefore, signing another goalkeeper is essentially the only option for APOEL in order to ensure greater depth and a sufficient number of options between the posts ahead of the new season.
