The team’s press officer, Christoforos Michailoudis, spoke to “SUPERSPORT 104” about Krasava ENY’s transfer plans and preseason preparations. He discussed the team’s next steps to strengthen the roster, the upcoming friendly matches, the Tsireio Stadium, and the main goal for the new season, which is to avoid relegation.
His comments
On strengthening the team: “We needed to strengthen the team, and in some cases we were late in doing so. Richter has been on trial with our team since the start of preseason, and the coach was satisfied with him. Kiakos is a player who came of age in Germany and has played for several teams in Greece as well as for Wisła Kraków. We’re close to finalizing the roster. We’ll have another 2–3 signings. We’re seeing that signings are still happening right up to the last minute.”
Regarding the friendly match: “We decided with Salamina to play the game tomorrow instead of Saturday because it would be better for the fans. We’ll play the friendly against AEL at “Ammochostos” on Wednesday, and we’ll wrap things up on August 22 against Omonia Aradippou.”
Regarding the home stadium: “If the Tsirion Stadium isn’t ready, we’ll stay at ‘Ammochostos – Epistrofi.’”
On the goal: “Our goal is to avoid relegation. A lot of players left, and just as many came in. We want to stay in the league.”
