The temperature is dropping
ALPHANEWSLIVE

Seasonal low pressure and an unstable air mass are affecting the island.

Today, the weather will be partly cloudy, while clouds developing around noon and in the early afternoon are expected to bring isolated showers or even thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains and inland areas. Hail cannot be ruled out during thunderstorms. Winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and temporarily strong in the afternoon along the southeastern coast, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. Temperatures will reach 39 degrees inland, around 30 on the western and southwestern coasts, around 34 on the rest of the coast, and around 28 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

Tonight, there will be periods of increased local cloud cover. Locally, especially during the early morning hours, light fog or mist is expected to form. Winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light and initially locally up to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. Temperatures will drop to 23 degrees inland, around 24 degrees along the coast, and 20 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

Over the weekend and on Monday, there will be periods of increased local cloud cover, while isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected at midday and in the early afternoon, mainly in the mountains and inland.

Temperatures will gradually drop over the three-day period, hovering slightly below average.
