The 56-year-old arsonist from Sindos, who has set six fires in recent days, was remanded in custody with the consent of the investigating judge and the prosecutor, according to a report by ERT.
The man admitted that he started the fires because he was feeling stressed out by his job.
According to ERT, he reiterated to the investigating judge that he started the fires out of “stupidity,” while under pressure. In fact, as the same report states, he admitted that during one of the arson attacks, he “had drunk two glasses of wine” and was not in his right mind.

When asked if he started six fires due to work-related stress and stupidity, the 56-year-old did not answer; he simply shook his head.
Over the course of three days, the man allegedly started a total of six fires, driving from one location to another in his car.
In a video published by Rthess, the 59-year-old is seen stopping his vehicle and setting grass on fire. Shortly afterward, he gets back into the vehicle and drives away from the scene.
