Aris is close to making another addition to its roster. According to the Portuguese newspaper *Record*, the “Yellows” are close to reaching an agreement with Farense to sign Ricardo Velio.
Velho is a 27-year-old Portuguese player who spent last season on loan in Turkey with Gençlerbirliği, making 27 appearances.
According to the report, Velio’s relationship with Farense—the club that owns him (with a small percentage of his rights held by Braga)—is not good, and Aris is trying to take advantage of this to sign him.
Farense is asking for three million euros, while Aris is trying to sign him, even if only on loan with an option to buy at the end of the upcoming season.
