In Nicosia, following a complaint filed with the police regarding a residential burglary and theft, members of the Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department arrested a 22-year-old man after finding the stolen property in his possession.

A watch was also found at the 22-year-old’s residence, and authorities are investigating whether it is stolen property.
During questioning by police officers, the 22-year-old also admitted to committing three burglaries at another residence in Nicosia between August 2 and 12. According to a complaint filed with the police by the homeowner, cash and a watch were stolen from the residence, of the same brand as the watch found at the home of the 22-year-old suspect.
