The day is approaching when Cristiano Ronaldo will hang up his soccer cleats!
As he himself stated in an interview with *Vogue*, the upcoming season will most likely be the last of his sensational career as a soccer player. At 41 years old and after an incredible journey filled with soccer magic, titles, and records, he seems ready to call it quits.

“This is most likely my last year in soccer, and I want to leave behind an amazing legacy,” the Portuguese star initially stated, before going on to discuss his plans, saying:
“I’ve mapped out my future. There are so many things I can get involved in that it’s hard to name just one. Since soccer can leave a big void, you have to fill your time in various ways, not just with one activity. I also want to have more fun, travel more, watch and play table tennis—which I really enjoy—and continue to enjoy everything I’ve earned—everything we’ve earned. Because, after all, it’s been 25 years of many sacrifices.”
