They could have gotten married in a castle, on a private island, at a mansion, or in front of hundreds of famous guests. Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez, however, chose something much more personal: the living room of their new home in Cascais.
And perhaps that is ultimately the most striking aspect of their wedding— the decision to transform a completely ordinary space in their family life into a part of a memory they want to cherish forever.
In an interview with Vogue a few days before the ceremony, Georgina explained exactly this idea: “We chose to do it in the living room of our home here, where we eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and where we live our everyday lives.”
