Two meetings of the Executive Board of POED have been scheduled for August 27 and 28 to discuss a number of issues, including the proposal by the Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth regarding the appointment system, POED President Myria Vassiliou told CNA.
Responding to a related question, she said that a meeting with the other two teachers’ organizations, OELMEK and OLTEK, and noted that they have been invited to a meeting with the Minister of Education, Sports, and Youth on August 31.

When asked whether there is a convergence of views with the other two teachers’ unions, Ms. Vassiliou said that the concerns, concerns, and disagreements appear to be shared, and this will certainly be a topic of discussion at the meeting to be arranged among them next week.
