At around 3:40 a.m. today, a report was received regarding a possible break-in at a newsstand, as well as a complaint about a possible break-in at a pharmacy, both located in the Aradippou area.
Police officers went to the area to investigate.
The investigation confirmed that the kiosk had been broken into; the cash register drawer, which contained cash in coins, as well as an additional amount in coins from the cash register counter.
An attempted break-in was also discovered at the pharmacy; however, the perpetrators were unable to gain entry to the premises.
At the same time, a report was received regarding a possible break-in at a store in the Aradippou area.
Investigations conducted by police officers confirmed that the store had been broken into; however, according to the owners, nothing appears to have been stolen.
During their investigation of the area, police officers also discovered attempted break-ins at another pharmacy and another kiosk. The perpetrators were unable to gain entry to the two premises, from which no property was stolen.
The Aradippou Police Station is continuing its investigation.
