There was a change in referees for PAOK’s first match against Braga on Thursday at Toumba Stadium in the Conference League playoffs.
German referee Daniel Siebert has been appointed to replace the Portuguese referee Nobre. The elite referee, who officiated the Champions League final between Arsenal and Paris, will be assisted by Saal and Wessel, with Reichel serving as the fourth official. Portuguese referee Martins will be in charge of VAR, with Estévez serving as AVAR.
Zibert has officiated four other PAOK matches. He was the referee for Genk vs. PAOK (1-2) in the Conference League Round of 16 on March 17, 2022, the PAOK–Panathinaikos 1–2 match in the league playoffs on April 23, 2023, in the Panathinaikos–PAOK 6–5 on penalties in the Cup semifinals on February 21, 2024, and in the Club Bruggevs. PAOK 1-0 in the Conference League quarterfinals on April 11, 2024.
