Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda, a Greek-style celebration, plate-smashing, and a cake with an “eye”—the “Queen of Pop” celebrated her birthday in the most iconic way possible.

Madonna’s birthday could never be a simple affair, and for her 68th birthday on August 16, the “Queen of Pop” chose Greece—specifically Corfu—for a celebration that had everything one would expect from her: fashion, family, travel, luxury, and plenty of Greek flair.

The internationally renowned singer spent about a week in the Ionian Islands, surrounded by her loved ones, including her partner, Akeem Morris, as well as her children Lourdes, Rocco, Mercy, and the twins Stella and Estere.
