Arsenal is set to finalize a major reinforcement for its defense, having reached an agreement with Aston Villa to sign Ezri Konsa.
According to David Ornstein, the two clubs have reached an agreement for a fee of approximately 51 million pounds—roughly 60 million euros—with additional bonuses included in the deal.

The 28-year-old English international has already said goodbye to his teammates at Aston Villa and is expected to undergo the necessary medical exams on Thursday, before his move to London is formally finalized.
This addition is perfectly in line with what Mikel Arteta demands from his defenders, since Consa can cover both the center-back and right-back positions with equal versatility—a role currently filled on the roster by White, Timber and Mosquera on the right side and Calafiori and Incapie on the left.
