An investigation is currently underway into allegations concerning certain in vitro fertilization centers in the occupied territories, the “Ministry of Health” today, calling on families undergoing such treatment at these centers who have concerns or doubts about the treatment process to submit a request to the “Ministry.”
As reported in the occupied territories, a statement from the “Ministry of Health” notes that in order to fully investigate the allegations, identify any similar cases, and uncover potential victims, all families undergoing in vitro fertilization treatment are urged to contact the “ministry.”

Specifically, it is noted that anyone who suspects that the donor they were notified about or selected was not actually used, anyone who identifies discrepancies between the results of DNA/genetic tests and the donor information provided to them, those who have doubts about the donor’s identity, characteristics, or medical history during treatment, and those who believe they may have suffered similar abuse.

Applications will be processed in accordance with confidentiality and data protection principles, the statement notes, in order to contribute to ongoing “review and evaluation processes.”
It also states that it considers patient safety, children’s right to health, access to accurate genetic and medical information, and the conduct of in vitro fertilization procedures in accordance with “the law” as “fundamental priorities”.
