A preliminary agreement has been signed between the APOEL club and ECM Partners, led by Savvas Liasis. Now, all that remains is for the company to sign the agreement, which is considered a formality.
This will be followed by a letter to the football federation from the “blue-and-yellows,” with the preliminary agreement attached; subsequently, the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) will provide assurances to UEFA regarding whether the new company outlined in the investment plan is eligible for a license.
Once the above is clarified, the way will be paved for the administrative transition of APOEL’s soccer division.
