The Municipality of Strovolos announces that landscaping maintenance work will be carried out on traffic islands and sidewalks along major thoroughfares between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., according to the following schedule:
- Kalamon Avenue, from the intersection with Limassol Avenue (highway) to the roundabout at the new General Hospital (August 31–September 1, 2026).
- Limassol Avenue (old Limassol Road), from the roundabout next to the Mall of Cyprus to the Strovolos municipal boundary, near the Pop Life store, as well as on Nikandros Papaminas Street, up to the entrance of Athalassa Park (September 2–8, 2026).
- Limassol Avenue, from the intersection with Athalassa Avenue to the intersection with Kosta Anaxagora Street (CYTA overpass) (August 28, 2026).
- Independence Avenue (September 14–15, 2026).
- Strovolos Avenue, from its intersection with Archbishop Kyprianos Street to its intersection with Agios Stylianos Street (September 24–27, 2026).
- Kantara Street (September 8, 2026).
- Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue, from its intersection with Strovolos Avenue to its intersection with Limassol (highway) (September 9–10, 2026).
- Anti Hadjicosti Street (September 10–11, 2026).
- Archangelos Avenue, from the intersection with Agios Alexios Street to the roundabout near Anti Hadjicosti Street and Lefkotheou Street (September 10–11, 2026).
- 25th of March Avenue, Yiannis Kranidiotis Street, and Dimitris Vikelas Avenue (September 16–18, 2026).
During the construction work, the public is asked to follow on-site traffic signs and the instructions of the police.
