Asteras Tripoli Files a Protest Regarding Its Match Against Levadiakos!
The Tripoli team lost 2-0 to Levadiakos in their Greek Cup second qualifying round match, but filed a protest challenging the validity of the match, citing the irregular participation of a Levadiakos player.
The Tripoli-based team filed the protest, emphasizing that a player from the home team who played and was on the field did not meet the requirements as defined by the Football Match Regulations (K.A.P.).
The case will now be referred to the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) Disciplinary Committee, which will review the match report and related documents to determine whether a violation actually occurred and, if so, what the penalty will be.
It now remains to be seen what will happen ahead of the League Phase draw, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday (August 25) at 7:00 p.m.
