A long-standing tenure with the Cyprus Football Federation comes to an end today for Anthoulis Mylonas, who is stepping down from his position as the Federation’s General Director.
Mr. Mylonas was hired by the CFF in May 2002 as Executive Secretary. In May 2008, he was promoted to Assistant General Director, and in January 2010, he assumed the position of General Director of the Federation, a position he held until recently, when he retired.
Prior to his appointment at the CFF, he served for many years as a rapporteur for the Federation’s Judicial Committee.
Anthoulis Mylonas served the Cyprus Football Association and Cypriot soccer with integrity, consistency, and professionalism, playing a significant role in the progress and development of the sport.
The President, the Board of Directors, and the staff of the Federation express their sincere gratitude to Mr. Mylonas for his many years of service and his significant contributions to the CFF and Cypriot soccer.
Mr. Mylonas is succeeded as General Director by Andreas Morias, who until recently served as the CFF’s Financial Director and Deputy General Director.
