A tragic accident occurred on Thursday morning in the village of Chouliarades in the Municipality of Northern Tzoumerka, when an 86-year-old man lost his life after falling from the roof of his home.
The elderly man had climbed onto the roof of his house to perform some work, but under circumstances that remain unknown at this time, he lost his balance and fell to the ground.

The unfortunate man was found by his wife, who immediately notified the authorities. An EKAB ambulance rushed to the scene, and the paramedics provided first aid and transported him to Hatzikosta Hospital in Ioannina.
Despite the doctors’ efforts, the 86-year-old man could not be saved, and he was pronounced dead.
The circumstances surrounding the fall are under investigation.
