Police handcuffed the irresponsible father who left his 11-year-old daughter home alone and fled the country.
The man was arrested today by the police and is expected to be charged with child abuse of a child under the age of 16.

It should be noted that the case was brought to the attention of the Paphos Police on Thursday evening, when a tip was received.
Members of the Criminal Investigation Department rushed to the father’s home, where they found the 11-year-old girl alone in the house.
During the investigation, the child reportedly told the police officers that she lives in the house with her father, who, according to her, had been abroad since August 19.
After the minor was located, Social Welfare Services were immediately notified and took over the care and protection of the child.
According to information from Pafos Press, the father reportedly traveled abroad to attend a match of the Paphos team.
Authorities are now examining all the facts of the case, with particular emphasis on the protection and safety of the minor. So far, no official details have been released regarding the circumstances of the father’s absence or the length of time the minor was left alone at home.
