Olympiacos’ relationship with Thomas Walkup—and with Dubai BC—has reached a breaking point. A few days ago, it was reported that the 33-year-old guard unilaterally terminated his contract with the “Red-and-Whites,” requesting his release.
At the same time, yesterday, Thursday, he failed to show up for his scheduled medical exams, resulting in the club summoning him to explain his absence.

The latest news concerns the complaint filed by Olympiacos, which was forwarded to the EuroLeague. The Piraeus-based club alleges that Dubai BC made an illegal approach to the player’s camp. In fact, the EuroLeague is pressing Dubai BC to respond as to whether this is indeed the case, with Dubai denying it.
A very important aspect of the case is that for several days now, the player’s agents have been at odds with Wakap’s actions. At the same time, Olympiacos believes that Dubai BC is behind the Italian law firm that has taken on Wokap’s case.
