Two people were killed when their plane crashed on Friday near the city of Zadar in Croatia, according to authorities.
The search and rescue operation began shortly after 4 p.m. (local time) when the two-seater aircraft, which had departed from the Czech Republic, went missing.
The wreckage of the aircraft was located a few hours later in Paklenica National Park, approximately 60 kilometers northeast of Zadar.
The operation concluded around 10 p.m. when the wreckage of the aircraft and two bodies were found, Croatian police reported.
So far, no information about the victims has been released. The causes of the crash remain unclear.
