At least seven people were injured and a campground had to be evacuated due to the heavy rainfall that hit northeastern Spain on the night from Fridayinto Saturday, authorities reported.
Three people were injured when a wall collapsed at the port of Roda de Berra, about 75 km southwest of Barcelona, rescue services said.

One of them “may be in a more serious condition” than the other injured people, said Inma Sole, deputy regional director of emergency operations coordination, on Spanish television.

Four other people were taken to the hospital following other incidents, including two who sustained minor injuries when another wall collapsed at a campground in Ronda de Berra.
About 300 people vacationing at that campground were evacuated from the area, and 100 of them found shelter in a municipal gym, authorities said.
Firefighters had to respond to 200 incidents, mainly to rescue people trapped in their vehicles on roads flooded by torrents of water.
The waterfront of El Ventrell, a city with about 40,000 residents, was submerged under more than half a meter of water, while several streets in the neighboring municipalities of Coma-Ruga and Torredembarra were also flooded, according to Catalan public television.
In some areas of the Catalonia region, more than 100 liters of rain per square meter were recorded, according to the local meteorological service. In some parts of the Catalan coast, 200 liters of rain fell in just a few hours.
