Seven people, including two police officers, lost their lives in a shocking traffic accident that occurred early Saturday morning in northeastern England.
According to Cleveland Police, the accident occurred east of Middlesbrough. A vehicle traveling in the opposite lane collided with a police patrol car.
All occupants of both vehicles—a total of seven people—were killed in the violent collision.

The Cleveland Police Chief expressed her deep sorrow over the loss of the two police officers, as well as the other victims. “This tragic incident will be felt throughout Cleveland, in our communities, and across the entire police family,” she said.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the exact circumstances under which the collision occurred, while the process of officially identifying all the victims is underway.
The accident comes at a time when authorities in the UK and Ireland are facing growing concerns about dangerous behavior on the roads.
