Sampdoria is reportedly targeting Omonia player Nikolas Panagiotou, with respected journalist Rudi Galetti, revealing the Italian club’s official interest.
It is reported that the “Blucerchiati” approached the island’s champions to gather information about the 26-year-old center back.
However, it appears that this is more of a preliminary contact between the two sides, and no offer has been made—at least for now.
The international soccer player is under contract with the “Greens” through 2027, and for him to leave, they would first have to be satisfied financially.
There is still time before the transfer window closes… and it remains to be seen whether this interest will materialize into something “concrete.”
Sampdoria plays in Serie B and finished the past season in 13th place.
