The trilateral cooperation between Greece, Cyprus, and Egypt was praised by Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis and his Egyptian counterpart, Badri Abdelati, agreeing to further strengthen coordination in this context during a phone call they had on Saturday.
According to a post by the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs on platform X on Saturday, the conversation took place as part of the two ministers’ regular exchanges and focused on the strategic partnership between Greece and Egypt, as well as on expanding cooperation in the fields of the economy, investment, and energy.
The two ministers also discussed regional developments, emphasizing the need to intensify diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions.
