On Sunday afternoon (August 23) Lando Norris dominated the eventful Dutch Grand Prix and celebrated his second consecutive victory in this year’s Formula 1 championship, thereby establishing himself as a serious contender in the title race.
The winner of the historic final race at Zandvoort was the points leader, Kimi Antonelli, with the young Italian Mercedes driver extending his lead over second place to 59 points.
With his third-place finish today—leaving Lewis Hamilton in fourth— George Russell has caught up to him in second place in the drivers’ standings with 183 points, with Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc hot on his heels with 159 and 155 points, respectively.
