In a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Sunday evening on the Keliou–Troullon Road in the Larnaca district, 30-year-old Georgios Georgiou lost his life.
According to reports, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the 30-year-old was riding a high-displacement motorcycle belonging to another person on the Keliou–Troullon Road.

He entered a curve in the opposite lane of traffic, where he collided head-on with a sedan carrying four passengers, two of whom were the couple’s minor children; at first glance, they appear to be in good health.
As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist—who, according to preliminary findings, was not wearing a helmet—was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital.
The autopsy will be performed tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.
